Nate Diaz Again Pushes For Trilogy Fight With McGregor In Latest Instagram Post

The rivalry between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz is a funny one. Both are highly volatile trash-talkers who love the art of combat and, though some respect does exist between them, they represent two very different sides of the mixed-martial arts spectrum.

As of right now, they have engaged in two of the most memorable match-ups in UFC history – with each man taking a win- and though there have been calls for a rubber match, both will more than likely have to wait before settling their feud.

Nate has made it perfectly clear that after years of being paid lower than what he feels he is worth, he will not engage in another match-up unless he is guaranteed the type of money that is reflective of the public attention he believes he brings to the table. And he is not wrong in doing so.

Of course, for the purists, Nate – along with his brother Nick – has been a staple in all things mixed-martial arts, with each of the Diaz brothers representing the very real and authentic side to the often fabricated fight-business. But now, after his bouts with the aforementioned McGregor, his star power has gone through the roof.

After making a career-high paycheque in his first fight with Conor at UFC 196, and then topping that again with his payday from UFC 202, Nate now understands that the ball is in his court, and for most UFC fans, it’s pleasing to finally see this true warrior getting his dues.

So while his next fight may be further away than most fight-fans might hope, this has not stopped Nate from consistently throwing jabs at the UFC’s new dual-weight champion, and this latest one might just be his funniest.

Nate took to his official Instagram page today to ground the newly-crowned UFC lightweight champion and remind him of the score that he has yet to settle.
