Nate Diaz: “I Ain’t Fighting No Trilogy, He Already Got Whipped”

Nate Diaz has given a characteristically blunt take on the UFC 229 main-event showdown between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor.

Speaking to TMZ, Diaz gave his take on both men before supposedly ruling himself out of a third and final matchup with Conor.

“I think Conor has got a way better fight style. That fool [Khabib] ain’t fought nobody.

“I ain’t fighting no trilogy. He already got his ass whipped. He can fight everybody else. I got shit to do too.”

Conor has expressed recently that he will grant Nate a rematch because of the Stockton brawler’s decision to grant him one after finishing him at UFC 196.

Perhaps it would be wise to take this one with a pinch of salt, folks.

If Diaz is able to get past the incredibly tough task in front of him the form of Dustin Poirier at UFC 230, though, do not be surprised if himself and the Irishman throw down again in a fight that could well break every record in the book.

Especially if Conor is, in fact, successful in handing UFC lightweight champ Khabib Nurmagomedov his first career loss tomorrow night.
