Michael ‘Venom’ Page Calls Out Conor McGregor With A Truly Electric Promo Video

Maybe don’t hold your breath for this one, but Bellator superstar Michael ‘Venom’ Page has made an admittedly interesting call-out of the UFC’s lightweight champion, Conor McGregor over social media.

Michael “Venom” Page currently stands as one of the sport’s most entertaining strikers. Last year, he sprung to international fame with his ‘Knockout of the Year’ candidate flying knee over the veteran Evangelista Santos but has made a name for himself over the years with his highly-unorthodox, free-flowing stand-up style.

He has yet to face someone who would be considered as world-class opposition but as a welterweight, he seems destined to find himself facing off with one of the promotion’s many high-level 170lb-rs in the near future.

Bellator’s welterweight division has seen itself edging closer to that of the UFC’s in recent times, and with the likes of MVP, Rory MacDonald, Paul Daley, Andrey Koreshkov and the champion Douglas Lima knocking about, expect big things at 170lb in the organisation’s future.

Today, however, Page made a call-out of one of the UFC’s reigning champions, the promotion’s biggest star, the Notorious Conor McGregor, stating in his Facebook post that he’d certainly like to see this fight happen and while it’s unlikely that we’ll see this matchup come into fruition any time soon, the accompanying promo video sent out by MVP is definitely one that is worth your time.

Like I said before, though, I wouldn’t recommend holding your breath on this one.
