Kiefer Crosbie turned in a solid performance in front of a sold-out Dublin crowd to beat Hugo Pereira on the scorecards at Bellator Dublin.
Backed by the surprise appearance of his long-time friend and training partner Conor McGregor, Kiefer strode to the cage to rapturous applause from the Dublin crowd ahead of his fourth appearance as a Bellator athlete.

Facing the short-notice replacement, BJJ black-belt Hugo Pereira, the fight saw BDK employ a more cautious strategy that we had perhaps seen in the past – opting to pressure his man up against the cage, peppering him with leg-kicks all the while.
In moments, Crosbie was able to turn up the pace to the level we would normally expect of him but all in all, this outing saw us bear witness to a more methodical fighter.
In the end, the judges saw it unanimously in favour of the Irishman, to the delight of the crowd in attendance.
Taking to the mic directly afterwards, Kiefer admitted that he may have been overly hesitant at points but all things considered, he seemed happy to take his seventh career victory home with him.
