Expect things to continue to heat up as we edge ever closer to the first meeting between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor next Thursday.
Finally, we have some movement on the promotional front for October 6’s lightweight title clash between champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor.
For a while, it did seem as though the reports claiming that the Irishman was refusing to do media were true but then thankfully, an announcement came that confirmed a press conference, set for next Thursday.
Khabib took to Instagram in the direct aftermath of the news to give a vague update on his progress.
To which Conor replied:
It might not be much but these two are clearly just dying to break into a more direct conflict.
