Two huge UFC championship bouts are very close to being signed for July’s UFC 239 in Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena according to ESPN.
Brett Okamoto of ESPN reported first that the UFC are close to booking two massive title-fixtures for their International Fight Week headliner, UFC 239 on July 6.
So far, only the 205lb debut of Luke Rockhold is to be found on that card as he steps up to take on Jan Blachowicz.

For Nunes, this will stand as her first fight since absolutely running through the legendary featherweight queen Cris Cyborg in under a minute at UFC 232.
A fight with the former-champ Holm has been among the most widely-requested women’s MMA matchups of all time and as a co-main event headliner, it’s one helluva catch.
Jones, on the other hand, was linked to a showdown with the most decorated heavyweight in UFC history, Stipe Miocic, for a while – and who knows, this could well still happen at some point in the future, but in the viciously potent Thiago Santos – he has a seriously powerful striker to deal with, one who has the spark in his shots necessary to end his long unbeaten run.
Whether he can pull off the unthinkable and land a clean shot on Bones remains to be seen.
