Francis Ngannou has solidified his place as the heavyweight division’s top contender with another quick knockout of a legendary former champ.
There is absolutely no doubt that this man is the most fearsome power-puncher in the history of the UFC.
Alistair Overeem, Curtis Blaydes, Cain Velasquez, Junior dos Santos. All knocked out in under two minutes.
There was the sense among some that the veteran JDS would perhaps be able to test the longevity of the Cameroonian with his technical boxing and those betting on the Brazilian were hopeful that he could drag this one into the later rounds and avoid the big shots where others couldn’t.
Unfortunately for fans of the former champ, he was unable to keep The Predator off of him and despite a few decent moments early on, the fight was brought to an almighty halt just after the one-minute mark.
SO. MUCH. POWER! 💥

Although Stipe Miocic is the next man in line to get a shot at Daniel Cormier’s title, Ngannou walked straight over to the UFC president Dana White to make his case for getting a crack at the winner.
After a performance like that can you really deny him?
