One of the top featherweight fighters in the world will return to pro-MMA following his ban at the hands of USADA for testing positive for GHRP-6 in 2016.
Chad ‘Money’ Mendes is back!
After testing positive for the banned-substance GHRP-6, a growth hormone stimulator, in a USADA-administered drug-test, Mendes was given a two-year ban from all competition, something that will be lifted in June of this year.
And while Chad himself acknowledged that it was carelessness on his part that led to him testing hot, a decent number of people within the MMA community felt as though he did not take the performance-enhancing drug intentionally.
According to reports in circulation this evening, ‘Money’ will be back in action this summer.
Chad Mendes will make his return at UFC Fight Night in Boise when he faces Myles Jury in July.
