The UFC flyweight champion Henry Cejudo has vowed to take his UFC Brooklyn opponent TJ Dillashaw’s soul when they face off on Saturday night.
We will learn a lot about Dillashaw’s ability to make the flyweight limit of 125lbs when he steps on the scales Friday – and even more when he steps into the octagon on Saturday night.
TJ is undoubtedly the favourite heading into his showdown against the comparatively smaller flyweight king but make no mistake, the harrowing cut that will see the 135lb-r cut an extra 10bs could well be a deciding factor on the night.
Irrespective of this, Cejudo believes he has all of the tools necessary to shock the world for the second time in a row after he handed the longtime champion of his division Demetrious Johnson his first loss in the weight-class at UFC 227.
The UFC released the latest in their string of promos hyping up the event and to be honest, it’s not a stretch to say that the fans are disregarding the former Olympic gold-medalist’s chances to a certain extent.
