Cal Ellenor has been forced to withdraw from his Bellator Dublin main-event showdown with James Gallagher due to an injury.
The fight was seen by many as a very interesting clash between two top prospects, one that could potentially have given the winner the opportunity to make a statement within the divisional title-picture.
Unfortunately, ESPN reported in the late hours of Tuesday night that Ellenor has been forced to withdraw from the bout due to a yet-to-be-disclosed injury, one that leaves The Strabanimal opponent-less just nine days out from his headlining slot.
Taking to his official Instagram, Gallagher promised that the ‘Jimmy show’ would go on no matter what, proclaiming himself to be the biggest draw under the promotional banner at present.
