Darren Till made a real point at today’s UFC 228 official weigh-ins by coming in one pound under his required limit.
Following the news that flyweight champion Nicco Montano was hospitalised for a yet-to-be-disclosed reason earlier today, there really was the sense that something could go incredibly wrong in the night’s main-event.
With Darren Till’s recent weight-cutting struggles – most noticeably at UFC Liverpool – many had doubted his ability to get the job done this time around.
The Englishman did not disappoint, though, coming in at 169lbs, one pound under the limit.
