You have to feel for Blaine with this one.
After earning a shot at the Cage Warriors flyweight title, the reigning champion Nathan Greyson confirmed that he is unable to make weight for the bout – which was scheduled to take place at CW99 on November 17 in Colchester, England.

O’Driscoll’s coach John Kavanagh confirmed that his fighter will not remain on the card, which is due to get underway in about 48 hours.
48hrs notice, not even gonna try. @BlaineSbg put his life on hold for months preparing for this. Can't make the weight then move up. https://t.co/xjIvOL9ZWU

Blaine was the first fighter to feature in our ongoing series Exploring Irish MMA and while this setback will no doubt be a bitter pill to swallow, we’re sure that his shot at the belt will come once again before long.
