Artem Lobov Edges Out Win In Bareknuckle Debut Thriller

via East Side Boxing

Artem Lobov and Jason Knight put on an absolute show for those in attendance at BKFC 5 last night.

The word ‘bloodbath’ isn’t always the most desirable when you’re trying to sell a fist-fight but for what it’s worth, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a more brutal display all year.

Both men had their moments and both men hit the canvas more than once. When all was said and done, it was the SBG Ireland star Lobov who edged it out on the scorecards but all things considered, it was a much rougher start to his new sport that he would have perhaps expected.

From the first bell until the last it was pretty consistently packed with action as these two guys attempted to take each other’s heads off.

Both were wearing the damage visibly by the time the final bell rang and overall, referee Dan Miragliotta had his work cut out for him from the get-go.

With the eyes of the fighting community fixed firmly on BKFC 5 for the night and the possibility of a showdown with former boxer Paulie Malignaggi now seemingly set in stone, Lobov took to his official Twitter page to poke fun at the damage he had sustained.
