Alexander Gustafsson Wants Corey Anderson At UFC London

The recently defeated UFC 232 headliner Alexander Gustafsson is looking to bounce back as soon as possible, calling out Corey Anderson for a showdown at UFC London.

Gustafsson was on the receiving end of a comprehensive loss to the newly-recrowned light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones in the UFC 232 main-event and by the looks of things, isn’t planning on sitting around for long.

Taking to his official Instagram account, Gus called out in-form contender and former Ultimate Fighter winner Corey Anderson – who has won three on the trot, placing him at #6 in the divisional rankings.

Anderson is fresh off of a victory over Gustafsson’s countryman Ilir Latifi – also at UFC 232 – and found himself in the news earlier today after revealing exactly how Jon Jones acted in the wake of the news that the event was being moved across from Las Vegas to California.

The fight could be perfect for the light-heavyweight division at this point.

It does appear as though Anthony Smith will be the next in line for a shot at Jon Jones’ belt and with Gus in need of a rebound matchup and Anderson determined to make his run at the title, we could well have the perfect headliner for the card that already features the co-main event clash between between 205lb-rs Volkan Oezdemir and Dominick Reyes.
