Aleksander Rakic completely scorched the veteran Jimi Manuwa with a picture-perfect head-kick in the UFC Stockholm co-main event.
Rakic is perhaps one of the most exciting prospects to be making their rise through the 205lb ranks at present and now, with a UFC record of 4-0, one would have to assume that he’s about one or two fights shy of getting himself right into that title-discussion.
Facing off against the electric veteran Jimi Manuwa, Rakic well and truly stepped up to the task from the get-go, showing the type of confidence that is indicative of a fighter with elite-level aspirations.
Manuwa, of course, remains an incredibly dangerous guy – with power in both hands and perhaps the greatest left-hook in the sport.
In facing the up-and-comer Aleksander Rakic, he could do little as his opponent pulled off one of the finest head-kick knockouts you will ever see.
Stockholm were treated to some memorable moments in the Ericsson Globe Arena last night and to be honest, this could well have been the best of the lot.
