AJ McKee managed to score a stunning first-round knockout of Georgi Karakhanyan at Bellator 228, finishing the fight in just eight seconds.
This 24-year-old is going places, there’s absolutely no doubt about it.
On a night that also included a successful return to action for AJ’s father, Antonio McKee, the prospect was able to score one of the fastest KO’s in Bellator history, flattening Georgi Karakhanyan in the very first exchange.
With this latest victory, McKee moves to 15-0 as a professional, making him the owner of the longest-active win streak in the company at present.
With a spot secured in the next round of the ongoing featherweight grand-prix, McKee will take on Derek Campos in December.
We’ve seen improvements all across the board since he first stormed onto the scene a few years ago and now, with him closing in on the title, it’s easy to peg him as one of the favourites to win the thing outright.
