Former UFC featherweight Myles Jury has confirmed that his Bellator debut will come against Benson Henderson and will be the main event of the promotion’s Dublin card in September.
Speaking on Ariel Helwani’s MMA show Jury, who was recently left the UFC, broke the news of his bout against Henderson which will be the showpiece fight at the 3Arena on September 27th.
Jury signed a deal with the promotion just last week to fight in their lightweight division and will now face the veteran Henderson in his Bellator debut.
The 30-year old will be looking to get back to winning ways in Dublin after falling to Chad Mendes and Andre Fili in his last two fights with the UFC.
His opponent Henderson, on the other hand, will be looking to make it four wins in a row at Jury’s expense having defeated Roger Huerta, Saad Awad and more recently Adam Piccolotti in his last three fights.
