Watch: Incredible Video Shows Conor McGregor’s Shift In Persona When Fighters Become Potential Opponents

Conor McGregor has seen his rise in the UFC since his debut in 2013 take him all the way to becoming a global icon.

McGregor has arguably outgrown the sport of MMA, holding the record for highest selling PPV (UFC 202 – 1.5 million buys), biggest UFC gate (UFC 205 – $17.7 million), largest disclosed individual UFC purse in one night (UFC 202 – $3 million), the highest attended UFC weigh-in (UFC 205 – 15,480) as well as being the only fighter to hold two belts from different weight-classes simultaneously and being the only fighter to record wins in three different weight-classes within a year (145 lbs, 155 lbs, 170 lbs).

As of last week, the Irishman’s side of the contract to fight Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match has been signed off. It was not so long ago that the concept of such an event was laughable. However, ‘The Notorious’ continues to embark on unprecedented venture after venture in the MMA world and we are slowly but surely becoming accustomed to him making whatever looks impossible to be absolutely possible.

The Dubliner did not transcend into the biggest star in the UFC by being a nice guy. He has gone on record himself in the past as saying “I have no friends in this game.”

On a path to glory, if you are in his way, he will ruthlessly remove you.

The below compilation clip illustrates how seriously Conor takes his rivalries.

Funnily, we are shown how amicable the current lightweight champion is with his fellow fighters before their paths cross as opponents or even potential opponents down the line, and the transformation these relationships take when faced with the prospect of throwing down with said fighters.
