Dundalk Football Club have released a series of videos detailing the passion and perseverance behind the Irish football cornerstone that is the Lilywhites.
In a brilliantly produced series, in association with the club’s main Sponsor, Fyffes, we learn about how some of the fans of the club came to be supporters and just how much Dundalk, as a club and as an area, means to them.
The videos also heavily focuses on the last two seasons in particular in which the Lilywhites have gone from almost going out of business in 2012 to winning the title on the final day of last season against Cork City.
This amazing journey in such a short space of time is chronicled passionately by those most loyal to the club – the fans.
Since the dark days of 2012, Dundalk have amassed one of the greatest squads in modern Irish football with players such as Daryl Horgan, Richie Towell and Sean Gannon being just some of the names we could see featuring at an even higher standard in years to come.
This group of players is now set to repeat their 2014 feat and claim their second title in two years with a healthy eight-point lead at the top of the Premier Division and with just six games left to play.
