Sean McCarron has made the move from Finn Harps to Irish League champions Cliftonville, according to reports.
The Donegal Daily reports that Cliftonville showed interest in the young striker during the summer but a move subsequently never occurred. McCarron now joins Cliftonville on a free, having been out of contract at the end of the season.
Finn Harps had an average season in the First Division last year, finishing fifth and scoring just 26 goals. The 23-year-old only scored one league goal all season but Cliftonville must see some promise in McCarron to sign him up as they approach the midway point in their season.
The Solitude outfit are entering into their 21st game week with their next fixture a home league tie against Institute. They currently lie in third place in the table, just three points behind Portadown at the top.
