Noel Hunt To Join Irish Takeover At Ipswich Town

Mick McCarthy is seemingly on a mission to bring all average Irish footballers to Portman Road to play for Ipswich.

Sean St Ledger confirmed on his twitter feed that he will be joining the Blues on a short contract.

The Yorkshire Evening Post has reported that Noel Hunt is set to join his brother Stephen at Portman Road before Thursday’s deadline.

Hunt has made just two appearances for Leeds United this season and is seen as surplus to requirements.

One can’t argue with Mick’s dedication to recruiting Irish international talent.

Currently he has Daryl Murphy, David McGoldrick, Jay Tabb, Conor Sammon, Stephen Hunt and now has added Sean St Ledger and Noel Hunt to the team.
