BREAKING: League Of Ireland Premier Division 2015 Fixtures

The SSE Airtricity League of Ireland fixtures for 2015 have been announced, and they’ve thrown up some mouth-watering opening clashes.

Last year’s Premier Division champions Dundalk welcome newboys and First Division champions Longford Town to Oriel Park on the opening day of the season.

Runners-up Cork City face a tough test against Sligo Rovers at The Showgrounds, with John Caulfield coming up against Owen Heary in the managerial stakes.

FAI Cup winners St. Patrick’s Athletic must face old foes Shamrock Rovers away in Tallaght on Friday, March 6th. It will also be the third year in a row in which Shamrock Rovers will have a home game on the last day, as they face Drogheda on the 30th of October.

Newly-promoted sides Galway United face Derry City in Eamonn Deacy Park on the opening Friday, while Limerick entertain Bohemians at their new Markets Field ground on Saturday, March 7th.
