QPR are in talks to sign Galway teenager Ryan Manning, according to The Daily Mail.
The Republic of Ireland U19 international also held talks with Tottenham Hotspur after they agreed a fee with the Eamonn Deacy Park club but Manning is expected to sign for Harry Redknapp’s men.
Manning, 18, can play in midfield or as a centre-forward. The Under 19 international, who has scored once in three games for his country, only joined Galway at the beginning of 2014.
Manning has also played for local club Mervue United in the League of Ireland First Division.
QPR manager Harry Redknapp previously mentioned that the suspension of striker Charlie Austin highlighted the club’s need for more forwards and he sees Manning as a fantastic prospect.
