Galway United have confirmed the re-signing of Enda Curran, Connor Gleeson and Aaron McDonagh.
This brings to 13 the number of players Galway have confirmed as being on the club’s books for 2015.
The standout signing is 21-year-old Connor Gleeson who played between the sticks 29 times for Galway in 2014, helping his side concede just 23 goals in 28 league games last term.
Enda Curran signs having been plagued by injury in 2014.
The 22-year-old frontman will look to progress this season however, and with the transfer of Ryan Manning to QPR recently, young players at the club will be well aware they must perform with the west coast club now firmly in the shop window for talent-spotters from across the Irish Sea.
19-year-old McDonagh, a wide player also re-signs after featuring sparingly last term.
Manager Tommy Dunne, speaking to galwayunitedfc.ie spoke of how important it is to have a ‘competitive squad’ for this year’s Premier Division campaign.
“The three lads have applied themselves well in pre-season training and I’m happy to have them in our group again for the coming season.
“We are starting to hit that busy period of pre-season now where friendlies are taking place so it’s pleasing to tie the lads down and continue our squad building process.
“We are going to need a competitive squad in the Premier Division, everybody has to step up and I’m content with the way our squad is coming together.”
