Drogheda Appoint Pete Mahon As Assistant Manager

Pete Mahon - Drogheda United manager.

Drogheda United have announced the appointment of Pete Mahon as assistant manager at the Louth club.

Having previously declared that former Irish international Mark Kinsella would be right hand man to Johnny McDonnell, Drogs have confirmed that Mahon will take up this position, however Kinsella will continue as part of the Drogheda coaching staff.

Mahon comes into the role with his last managerial stint being as first team boss at St. Patrick’s Athletic where he won a solitary trophy – the Leinster Senior Cup. Before this two-year spell at the Inchicore outfit, Mahon had spent five years with UCD and a single term with Bohemians back in 2001.
