Cork Announce Fixture Change & EA Sports Cup QF Date

Cork City have made two fixture announcements, concerning both Premier Division and EA Sports Cup games.

The Leesiders’ EA Sports Cup quarter-final against St. Patrick’s Athletic will take place on Tuesday, May 19th at 7:45pm in Turner’s Cross. City take on St. Pat’s having beaten Waterford United 2-0 away from home in the last round, with goals from Ross Gaynor and Rob Lehane sending the Leesiders through.

Cork City have also announced that their SSE Airtricity League Premier Division fixture against Drogheda United, originally set for July 10th, has been brought forward two months to Monday, May 11th in Turner’s Cross, also with a 7:45pm kick off.

This change of date is due to Cork City’s participation in the Europa League, pending the club being awarded a UEFA License.
