Greg Cunningham’s reported move to the Premier League has now been confirmed.

This is the second signing in two days for Cardiff, who acquired Norwich winger Josh Murphy on Tuesday.

“I’ve been an admirer of Greg for a number of years and he’s consistently been one of the best left-sided defenders for club and country,” manager Neil Warnock told the club’s official website.
“We’re delighted to have his experience and knowledge so as to supplement Joe Bennett who had a great time last season.”
Cunningham started his career with Manchester City before making moves to Bristol City and most recently Preston where he made 111 appearances for the Deepdale outfit.
The move will certainly help his international career and he will be keen to add to his four caps for the Republic of Ireland.
