The teams have been named for this afternoon’s Ryder Cup foursomes as Europe look to bounce back from a difficult morning against USA.

Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson look to be one of the standout pairings as they face the formidable team of Rickie Fowler and world number one Dustin Johnson in match one.

Rory McIlroy and Ian Poulter are also together as they face Bubba Watson and Webb Simpson both of whom will be fresh after not featuring in the morning session.

The same can be said for all four of the players in game three as Alex Noren and Sergio Garcia team up to face Phil Mickelson and rookie Bryson DeChambeau.

Tommy Fleetwood and Francesco Molinari versus Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas is the final game of the afternoon session.
