Shane Lowry holds a three-shot lead at the HSBC Championship Abu Dhabi after a blistering first round in which he equalled the course record.
The Offaly man sits on 10-under par after recording a bogey-free round of 62. He could have set a new course record at the final hole with a birdie opportunity, but he had to settle for par.
There are three competitors tied for second currently at 7-under par. 2010 Open winner, Louis Oosthuizen, is joined by fellow South African, Richard Sterne, and Mike Lorenzo-Vera of France.

Lee Westwood is third for fifth at 6-under par while Brooks Koepka and Ian Poulter lie a further shot behind.
It was a bright morning for Lowry who hit five birdies on the opening nine holes before equalling that on the back nine.
Fellow Irish man, Paul Dunne is just over an hour into his round and is currently on even par after eight holes.
