The pairings have been announced for this year’s 42nd Ryder Cup in Paris.
Today’s opening ceremony saw us finally learn how things would look when the tournament gets underway on Friday.
The US will travel across the pond to Europe as they attempt to win their first trophy abroad in 25 years – with their last coming in Belfry in 1993. Five straight defeats followed that victory but they will, of course, be hoping their fortunes change this time around.
Here are the pairings for the 42nd Ryder Cup between Europe and United States – which is due to get underway on Friday in Le Golf National.

8:40 a.m.: Paul Casey/Tyrrell Hatton (Europe) v Jordan Spieth/Justin Thomas (USA)
8:55 a.m.: Francesco Molinari/Tommy Fleetwood (Europe) v Patrick Reed/Tiger Woods (USA)
From 1:50 p.m.: Four foursomes (alternate shot) matches
