The final day of the US PGA Championship may be a good one for the Irish..
While Rory McIlroy may have played his way out of contention in the USPGA Championship on Saturday night, Seamus Power threw his name into the mix.
After a scintillating round of 67, the Waterford native has been selected to play in the third-last grouping of the competition.
Shane Lowry will also take his place in the final round, but is way off the pace after carding a +1 round of 71 on Saturday, leaving him 12 shots back off the lead.
PGA Championship latest ahead of Saturday.
Leading the field is Chilean Mito Pereira, who is three shots clear of second-placed Matt Fitzpatrick. Fitzpatrick is level with Will Zalatoris, who relinquished his lead on Saturday.
Power, however, maintained his good start to the week with a -3 of 67 on Saturday. The Waterford native birdied four of his last six to end his round with a flourish.

McIlroy, however, was left to rue his third-round at Southern Hills, carding a +4 round of 74. His latest leaves him level par after the three rounds played.
The last of the Irish saw Lowry fail to catch fire again, recording a costly round of +1 on Saturday.
Heading into the weekend with a score of +2, the Co. Offaly native was unable to reach an under par, leaving him with too much to do going into the final day.
