Watch: Two Former Hurlers Of The Year Combine For Sublime Ballyhale Goal

Eir Sport’s coverage of the GAA club championships from across the whole of Ireland since the conclusion of the inter-county season has been lauded unanimously, and rightly so.

This evening we are being treated to the crunch clash of two former county champions in Kilkenny, Clara and the famed Ballyhale Shamrocks.

While Ballyhale have romped into a lead, at time of writing (half-time) Clara are 2-09 to 0-07 behind, it is all to play for in pretty miserable conditions in Nowlan in Park come the second period.

It took just two minutes for a pair of the biggest names on show to combine and show us all that the old guard of Cats are far from faded away, despite the disappointing 2017 campaign they endured.

Check out the legendary TJ Reid and Michael Fennelly work a stunning goal together in the clip below:

Also, don’t miss Michael’s brother and fellow county star Colin Fennelly pick out a simply sublime pass, given the elements, to assist the Shamrock’s second goal just four minutes later, finished excellently by Ronan Corcoran.
