Watch: Shane Bennett’s Outrageous Run Along The Sideline Is One Of Finest You’ll See All Year

Waterford’s starlet Shane Bennett has seemingly been around for years at this stage, and he continues to show glimpses of the wonderful hurler that he may turn out to be.

The Ballysaggart man – who has been an ever present member of the Deise’s senior side – is on under 21 duty for his county this evening as they face an exciting Cork side that includes the likes of Mark Coleman, Shane Kingston and Darragh Fitzgibbon.

At the break, the Rebels were leading on a scoreline of 10 points to eight, and during the half-time analysis, TG4 felt obliged to show a magnificent run by Bennett even though his efforts only lead to a free on the sideline.

The full-forward picked the ball up near the end-line and began his run by disposing of two Cork players and while riding the tackle of the second player he got hold of the ball just in time the third man, Chris O’Leary, arrived.

He continued his run and despite a high tackle, Bennett stayed on track and as the fifth and final man went to dispossess the Waterford forward, he lobbed the ball over Michael O’Halloran’s head before being eventually fouled.
