It has been one-way traffic in Croke Park as Dublin lead by 1-9 to 0-5 at half-time in the second of this year’s All-Ireland football semi-final.
Dublin have played all the football in a very one sided first half. They have been allowed a lot of freedom and could arguably be further ahead than the seven points then they currently are.
Tyrone have been known for their defensive set-up, and have maintained this in today’s game. But their defensive system was broken down very early by the Dublin attack.
Inside the opening five minutes, Cuala’s Con O’Callaghan picked up possession on the 45-metre line. The whole defence opened up and O’Callaghan had nothing but goal on his mind.
Having led Cuala hurlers to the All-Ireland title on St. Patrick’s Day, Con O’Callaghan added another All-Ireland title to his collection with the Dublin under-21 footballers.
The summer has seen make the transition to the Dublin senior side where he has acquired a place starting line-up and he got the Dubs off to the perfect start today.
