Video: Kilkenny Fan In Eyre Square During All-Ireland Final Is No Scaredy-Cat

It seems that on All-Ireland hurling final day, there is no such thing as a “scaredy-cat”.

That is what a video shot in the heart of Galway’s Eyre Square during yesterday’s match suggests anyway. Amidst a thronging band of tribesmen and women, gathered to watch their boys in maroon try to vanquish the mighty Kilkenny, one lone mad man was clad in the black and amber. 

He wasn’t there to sit in silence either.

When TJ Reid found the back of the net in the first half, this brave soul made no attempt to hide his emotions, and he jumped to his feet in wild celebration. It was this moment that was caught on camera.
