One of Tyrone’s stalwarts has made a beautiful gesture to a supporter.
On Tuesday, Tyrone footballer Joe McMahon produced an extremely classy gesture to Tyrone GAA supporter, Mark McGoldrick.
The Omagh native and the two-time All-Ireland winner visited Mark McGoldrick after his abdominal operation. On immediate arrival, he gave the avid GAA fan one of his jerseys.
Mark is just 15 years of age and “he has complex medical needs”, stated his mother, Lorraine McGoldrick.
Speaking to Pundit Arena, Lorraine discussed that it has been a “crazy few days” for the McGoldrick family.
“Mark is an avid fan and never misses a match if his health allows.
“Even though he is unable to play any sport due to his condition, the gesture was so appreciated by Mark and our family.
“He made one poor fella extremely happy without even being asked – it was completely out of the blue.”

Fair play to Big Joe, who certainly made this 15-year-old’s day.
We wish Mark a very speedy recovery and good health in the future.
