Waterford have captured the u21 Munster Hurling Championship after beating Tipperary in a pulsating contest, pulling away in the second half on a scoreline of 2-19 to 0-15.
The Premier were hunting a remarkable treble of Munster titles at minor, u21 and senior.
However, a moment of magic in the second half from the Déise set the teams apart, as Stephen Bennett showed a remarkable bit of skill in the build-up to Waterford’s second goal.

Messi couldn’t have done what Stephen Bennett did there. Not being a hurler, like.

Beautiful evening in Waterford. Brilliant performance by the Deise in second half. Great boost before All Ireland Senior Semi v Kilkenny.

Waterford really opened up their shoulders and hurled for the last 20 mins. Fair play to them?
