The Connacht Football final between Galway and Roscommon ended in a draw. Galway may feel they left the game behind them as the Rossies scored an equaliser in stoppage time.
The game received mixed reaction on social media. Conditions were tough but it was a game dominated by defensive systems. There was lots of hand-passing and handling errors that plenty of people decided to comment on over the game.
Damien Comer puts Galway ahead…. the weather is so bad we’re expecting an appearance from Teresa Mannion any minute #GALvROS

It’s like Roscommon get a nose bleed when they get to the Galway half. Work it great out of defence and don’t know what to do then.

There’s icebergs in Antarctica currently moving faster than the Roscommon attack #GALvROS

Highlight of that game was referee nearly taking Roscommon player’s eye out in black carding the Galway lad
