The Feckin Friesian jersey was one of the highlights of last night’s show.
Although GAA fans watched last night’s episode of The Toughest Trade with interest, one particular short segment seemed to overshadow the efforts of former England cricketer, Steve Harmison.
Midway through the episode, Harmison took part in a puck around at the school in which Brendan Maher teaches. However while he did so, one student was asked to give his opinion on Harmison’s hurling skills.
As the youngster was speaking, viewers quickly became distracted by the colourful jersey he was wearing. Featuring a cow on the front and the words ‘Feckin Friesian’ on the back, for a very short time the shirt became an internet sensation.
Indeed, we we so impressed that we found ourselves searching through the O’Neill’s website, and found that the jersey was designed to coincide with the last year’s Ploughing Championships.
Judging by the reaction on twitter, it seems as if we were no the only people top be impressed.
