Kilkenny are All-Ireland Senior Camogie Champions, after beating Cork in Croke Park today on a scoreline of 1-13 to 1-09. While their male counterparts were unable to capture the Liam McCarthy Cup last Sunday, the ladies in black and amber made amends today.

In an intriguing clash, the Cats were too good for the reigning All-Ireland champions.

Before the sliotar was thrown in, things got heated as the two sides shook hands.

When the game started, Kilkenny got off to a roaring start, and led by two points at half time.
