Tommy Walsh has shocked Kerry GAA fans.
Writing in the Irish Examiner this morning, Tony Leen has reported that Tommy Walsh could be about to leave the Kerry Panel.
After finding themselves at the end of a heavy 2-18 to 13 defeat at the hands of Dublin in the league final last weekend, the news will come as a further blow for Kerry fans. Indeed, given that Kieran Donaghy was ineffective against Dublin for large parts, many supporters in the Kingdom have called for the inclusion of Walsh.
Nevertheless, it would appear that Vanentia’s Brendan O’Sullivan has risen above the Kerins O’Rahillys man in Eamonn Fitzmaurice’s pecking order.
As a result, it would seem that the former Sydney Swans player has become frustrated at his lack of game time, and is now threatening to withdraw from the Kerry Panel.
Since returning from the AFL, Walsh has seen little game time for Kerry. Although he made an impressive cameo against Kildare during Kerry’s big quarter final win last year, he has since only featured twice, against Dublin and Roscommon in the league this season.
Be a sad day if Tommy Walsh leaves Kerry panel , would love to see him play Centre half back and wreck some boys

If Tommy Walsh has left the Kerry panel it’s a sad day he gave it his all & respect to him for not wanting to warm a bench for the summer
