Watch: Tipperary Have The GAA Song Of The Summer Ahead Of Hurling Final

The Premier Rap Tipperary

Remember the Premier Rap from 2010? Released by Johnny B & The Boogie Men, it was the song that took a county by storm, and most are in agreement that it was the difference as Tipperary went on to capture their first All-Ireland title in nine years.

Well the great news is that Johnny O’Brien is back, under the guise of The 2 Johnnies. The better news again is that he has released a new version of the Premier Rap, tailored to the class of 2016.

Take a look here.

The Premier face Kilkenny in the All-Ireland final on Sunday week. Having lost the last four ties against the Cats in the Championship, Tipp will be keen to set the record straight in Croke Park this year.

With a solid summer under their belt, hopes are high in Tipperary. They stormed through the Munster Championship at ease, swatting aside Cork, Limerick and Waterford. While they were tested by Galway in the semi-final, they had too much in reserve, with John ‘Bubbles’ O’Dwyer coming of the bench to ensure victory.

With a song like this, the county will be fully behind them in the decider. Surely this is a shoo-in for Up For The Match?

For those wondering, you can view the original Premier Rap here:
