Tipperary hurling manager Michael Ryan has made six changes to his side that were defeated by Clare last weekend as they welcome Waterford to Semple Stadium.
Both sides in this weekend’s clash are coming off the back of defeats and will be eager to register two points.
Michael Ryan won’t have been too disheartened with a defeat to Clare in Ennis, given that the Banner are one of the top teams, however Tipp expect victory every time they take the field.
However, it is likely that Michael Ryan just wishes to see as many of his players as possible during the league campaign.
Either way, Ryan has made six changes as he introduces Sean O’ Brien, Joe O’ Dwyer, Brendan Maher, Michael Breen and John McGrath to his side.
The addition of Brendan Maher, Michael Breen and John McGrath alone would be enough to boost any sides firepower.
Tipperary face Waterford this Saturday evening in Semple Stadium with throw-in at 7pm.
