After Storm Emma caused chaos to last weekend’s league games, there is a full line-up of hurling and football action coming our way on Saturday and Sunday.
The final round of hurling games is taking place, with promotion, relegation and quarter-final spots to be decided. There are some crackers in store, not least Galway vs Limerick. The Tribesmen host the Treaty in Salthill on Sunday afternoon, with the winner being promoted to Division 1A for 2018. The game is part of a doubleheader, as the county’s undefeated footballers host Monaghan at 12:30 pm. Both matches will be broadcast live on TG4.
After that, the Irish language broadcaster will be showing full deferred coverage of Kilkenny vs Wexford in hurling, and Kildare vs Mayo in football, which means there will be FOUR full games on the station on Sunday.
That’s not all. eir Sport will be showing Dublin vs Kerry live from Croke Park on Sunday at 4pm, and Tyrone vs Donegal on Saturday evening.
In total, six Allianz National League games will be on the box throughout the weekend.
Strap in, folks.
