The quest for promotion to the top tier of the Allianz National Football League begins this Saturday as Cork play host to Tipperary in Páirc Ui Chaoimh and Clare face Cavan.
The Munster pair will both be anxious to get their campaigns off to a good start. While both counties will feel that they are good enough to be in the promotion picture come the end of March, they know that a bad start will see them in a relegation scrap.
The likes of Meath and Roscommon will be among the favourites for a final berth, while an ever-improving Cavan outfit are sure to want to come into the Championship with some momentum behind them.
Down, Louth and Clare make up the octet vying for a spot with the big boys come 2019.
Who do you think will win the title in the Croke Park final on April 1?
