Poll: Who Will Come Out On Top Between Cork And Waterford?

Cork and Waterford face off today in the All-Ireland semi-final, as the neighbouring Munster counties renew their great rivalry.

The Déise and Rebels have taken polar opposite routes to this stage since their Munster semi-final clash in June.

Waterford had to account for Offaly in Tullamore, squeeze past Kilkenny in Thurles, and trump Wexford in Páirc Uí Chaoimh. They now enter the semi-final for the third time in as many years. Will it be a case of third time lucky?

Meanwhile, Cork blasted past Clare in the Munster final to win through to tomorrow’s semi-final.

The renaissance of this Cork team has been nothing short of remarkable, as Conor Lehane, Seamus Harnedy, Patrick Horgan and others are back to their best, while the injection of youth such as Mark Coleman, Luke Meade and Darragh Fitzgibbon has led to a new-look Rebel outfit.

Galway lie in wait in the final, after seeing off Tipperary last week in an epic. While Micheal Donoghue’s side remain All-Ireland favourites, the Rebels nor Déise will worry about the Tribesmen until this evening (or after the replay??) when all is done and dusted.

However, who can reach the September decider today? We want to know your thoughts.
