Storm Desmond battered the entire country yesterday, with many the GAA training or match being called off due to the bad weather. However, some fields suffered worse than others, and Ballydesmond GAA in north Cork is as bad as we have seen.
John O’Leary sent this image into our GAA Facebook page, detailing how bad conditions were. It appears that it will be a few weeks before they get back out playing again on the field.
And if you think this is bad, you should look at the field in Glenflesk, Co. Kerry, which was sent into us yesterday.
The weather has thankfully calmed, although up and down the country people are still feeling the effects. We haven’t heard to date of any trainings or matches going ahead this weekend, but if you have any photos/videos, we’d love to hear from you.
As ever, feel free to get in touch with our Facebook page.
