Tipperary and Cork played out a brilliant encounter in Sunday’s Munster SHC clash in Thurles, with the points eventually shared between the two sides.
Tipp were up against it after a powerful start by the visitors, and looked as though they were going to be up against it with strong building up a strong lead at half-time.
However, the hosts were a team transformed in the second half. They fought their way back in and were full value for their part in the 2-20 to 1-23 draw.
But for Cork goalkeeper Anthony Nash it could have been even better for them. With the seconds ticking away and the side three points down, Tipp must have though they had levelled it up when Bubbles O’Dwyer unleashed a vicious shot towards the goal.
Nash, though, had other ideas and the Kanturk man pulled off a stunning save to deny O’Dwyer.
What an unbelievable save by Cork’s Anthony Nash! pic.twitter.com/WsRoVoKYul

As it turned out, Tipperary had enough time to chip away at Cork’s three-point lead and Jake Morris’ stoppage-time point earned the side a late draw.
After last week’s defeat to Limerick, Tipp could ill-afford to lose another match and the point keeps them in contention for progression to the next round. Cork, for their part, will feel like this was a point dropped but are still very much on course for a top-two finish
