Sport doesn’t get much better than this. Portlaoise were hunting a remarkable tenth consecutive Laois Senior Football Championship yesterday, and looked good to do so with just seconds remaining.
Portlaoise were up by two points deep into injury time, and as Stradbally collected the ball in their own half, it looked as if they would need a miracle to salvage anything from the game.
