There was a lot said and written about Dublin club St. Brigid’s after they drew up a players contract, which was leaked to the press.

Now Laois club Crettyard have parodied this contract by releasing their own version.

This includes buying snackboxes – but not eating more than your fair share – as well as making references to Electric Picnic and Nathan Carter.

It also references fines for various infringements and insisting that anyone who wishes to leak the contract must end the tweet with #hontheyard.

While I defended St. Brigid’s for their contract, had I known this would be the ripple effect, I would not have been so considerate. Club’s the parody has been done, do not do your own. Crettyard made the joke, it is no longer funny.

We have to cut this out at the bud.
